Welcome to Eastwick WI
Eastwick is a busy WI with 100 members, meeting in Fetcham, right in the middle of Surrey. Although a large WI, it is very friendly and the many extra activities give members the opportunity to make friends in smaller groups. Click on the 'Diary Dates' button to see details of our varied programme.
We are busy in the local community. We have a stall on Bookham Village Day and a successful presence at the Village Week Quiz every year. We help Leatherhead Lions take Father Christmas around the streets on his sleigh and we serve coffee at the Leatherhead Day Centre.
Eastwick WI meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 7.30 pm at St Mary's Annexe, The Ridgeway, Fetcham. There is disabled access. At these meetings we hear news of all proposed activities both locally and in the WI in Surrey and then we have a speaker or a demonstration. Look under the 'Diary Dates' tab left for details of future speakers. At the meetings there is plenty of time for socialising. Sadly at the moment there is a waiting list to join. Subscription is £31.50 a year (payable in January) which entitles you to eleven free meetings and eight copies of WI Life, the national WI magazine.
Please have a potter through our website to see what we get up to!
STOP PRESS!
Eastwick member Ann Lillywhite has started her training as a WI Adviser. We hope she enjoys the course, and we know she will be a brilliant WI Adviser at the end of it!
Brilliant! They've named an area of the Olympic Park after us! Well actually it is East Wick, but that's near enough!
There's a new committee at Eastwick! Check out the "Who runs Eastwick" page to see who they are and what they look like.
